GARDEN RULES

1.   Have an attitude of respect for all things in the garden (people, plants, animals, tools).

2.   Enjoy the outdoor experience by using all of your senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, feel).

3.   Follow the directions given by the adults in charge.

4.   Stay on the garden paths and out of the garden boxes, unless given permission by the adult in charge.

5.   Use tools correctly and be aware of safety toward classmates. Always carry tools with tip pointed down.

6.   Return garden tools and gloves to the shed at the end of class.

7.   Be aware of the possible presence of snakes in the garden.

8.   Keep the garden a beautiful place to visit. Pick up any litter.

9.   It is a privilege to work in the garden, if the rules are not followed, the privilege will be taken away.

10.                 Most importantly, have FUN!
